smc_mcr session list

The Social Media Cafe is all about coming together and sharing things.

If you feel that you would like to lead a talk or discussion around your particular area of interest, put your name and a rough title of your session in to the table below.

Sessions are usually around 40 minutes. You don't have to use up the full time slot but if a healthy discussion gets going, that probably won't be long enough! There should therefore be plenty of space to overrun.

Use the spreadsheet below to propose sessions for the next Social Media Cafe. Click here to edit the spreadsheet.

Session guidelines

Anyone can do a session. If you have something that you want to share with the wider Social Media Cafe (SMC) community, then the SMC is the place to do it.

The sessions can be formal presentations, but we try and encourage people to tap into the knowledge of the community and treat the sessions as conversations around the topic that you want to lead.

Sessions are not about selling products or services, although many of us are trying out and developing new ideas that might be part of our practice. The bringing of ideas to the SMC is what it's all about especially if you feel that the wider community can input into the ideas process.

No consecutive sessions, please. To encourage a greater diversity of speakers we discourage back to back sessions. If you have more than one session you want to present we ask that you leave a month before the next session.
