I'd like to attend Social Media Surgery Manchester - #mansms 12th Jan 2010

The first Manchester Social Media Surgery event of 2010 ~~will take place~~ took place at Manchester Metropolitan University's Business Incubator Innospace on Chorlton Street on Tuesday 10th January 2010 from 2pm to 4pm.

Social Media Surgery events are informal, free-to-attend, afternoon business networking events based around a panel made up of social media practitioners and agencies discussing and dissecting social media project issues presented by the attending crowd.

Would like to attend. Doing some pro bono PR work with Disability Stockport and they need some advice on using social media to share their messages but also they would love someone to come and talk to their clients about how they themselves can connect with others using social media. Clients all have different disabilities - does anyone have experience for example of advising the blind/visually impaired on using social media? I am a mere novice/dabbler.Would love to find someone local willing to help them out.More than happy to give them some profile with some traditional PR and my own social media dabbling in return.

If I can I would love to come to this event - it all depends on my client and whether they think this is a good route for them - as working for them that day
